Chapter 3
Once Despised, Now Hated!
After Lord Takuya got settled back into the estate, everything went back to normal as if he never had left. The three brothers were happy that he was back, so much that they could wait to hang out with him like they used to. Marina, on the other hand just hated the fact that her father returned. For all the years Takuya was at the Estate, all he did was adore her brothers. He sparred with them and took them to different places to explore. Ignoring her the whole time. On top of that, out of the shock of Komina dying, he blamed Marina for her death. Now he thinks that he can just return and act like none of that stuff happened. Well he's wrong, and Marina.....she won't let him go on and make everything up to his children for all these years.
Takuya-"It's good to see my family again. Hey Sephiro, what do you say about having a little spar match at the training hall after lunch?"
Sephiro-"Sure! I'd love to dad! It'll be fun, it's been so long since we've sparred! I can't remember the last time we've spent time together. I can't wait...."
Marina-".....shut up, Shut Up, SHUT UP!!! I can't believe you!? You're just gonna act like nothing has happened....NO you can't!"
Takuya-"What's wrong Marina? Why are you.."
Marina-"Don't you dare! You know exactly why. You have always known!"
Takuya-"Cherry-bell, can't you just forget about the past I"m sorry..."
Marina-"Don't call me that! Only people who care call me that. NO I will never forget!"
(Marina started crying)
Takuya-"I do care, and like I said I'm sorry for what happened. Please Marina, open your heart and let me make things up to you. As you're father I need to correct the damage I have caused towards you and your brothers...."
Marina-"SHUT UP!! JUST SHUT UP FOR ONCE!! You will never be able to fix what you've done in the past!"
Marina then ran off, and locked herself in her room slamming the bedroom door. Takuya felt guilty, so to make things up he went into town to buy a gift for her. The whole time, Marina just cried in her room and tried to calm down. It didn't help. Zeke snuck in through the balcony door to get into her room. Even though Marina has a balcony to her room, she doesn't leave through it because Takado's room is right below. When Zeke got into Marina's, he seen her crying so he went over to her for comfort.
Zeke-"Don't cry....sadness doesn't suit you well."
Marina-"Shut up....*sniffle*...what do you know about me?"
Zeke-"Well the fact that you have three brothers, where you live, what your room looks like, and your nicknames..."
Marina-"Ok....I get the point..."
Zeke-"See...I know plenty of stuff about you, or at least things that have to do with you. Look...I'm sorry for blurting out that you're..."
Marina-"It's ok...there was more important things at that time anyway."
Zeke-"That's true, but I still had no right to say that. Especially infront of Zmo, your brothers, and your..."
Marina-"Please don't mention him! It's ok about what happened.....but I don't want to talk about 'him'.....I'm mad at him right now."
Zeke-"So that's why you're upset."
Marina-"It's not right for him to just 'come back' and forget about all the stuff that's happened....*yawn*...I'm sleepy,very sleepy...."
(Marina fell asleep)
Zeke caught her before she could lay down on her bed. He decided to hold her in his arms and place her head over his heart. Though she was asleep, she could still hear his heart beating in a soothing rhythm. She started to forget about the argument with her father, and calmed down to a point where she stopped crying. After a couple of minutes Zeke fell asleep too.
Later in the afternoon, Lord Takuya came back with the gift for his daughter. A magnificent sword that had two blades, one on each end. The metal forged from blood and claws of the ancestors, ten-fold the power within the blades. For someone to wield a sword like this would be an honor. When Takuya walked into the Estate, he was immediately stopped by his son Sephiro. He had been waitin, like an anxious child, for his father to return. He looked upon his father and seen the sword. He knew it was for his sister Marina, but he also knew that if his father tries to give the sword to her she wouldn't accept it.
Meanwhile in Marina's room, both herself and Zeke were still asleep. Only thing different was that Maru had snuck in and moved Marina out of Zeke's arms, and laid in between them. He didn't like the fact that Zeke was with his sister, and he knew that his sister only liked Zeke as a friend. Since Zeke still thought that he still had Marina in his arms, he turned to kiss her. Of course since Maru was there and asleep too, he had no clue what was going to happen....
Zeke-"*MWAH*"
Maru-"Big sister....why'd you kiss me??"
Marina-"What are you talking about?...*yawn*...I've been sleeping."
Zeke-"What the...then who did I.....!? YUCK!!!!"
Maru-"DISGUSTING!! WHY'D YOU DO THAT?!"
Zeke-"*PLEH*!! I thought I kissed Marina!!!"
Marina-"Hehehe........HAHAHAHAHAHA! YOU KISSED MY BROTHER! HAHAHA!!!"
Zeke & Maru-"THAT'S NOT FUNNY!!"
Marina-"Maru, think of it this way...you saved me! So....*mwah*"
Maru-"Thanks for the thought sis and the kiss, but....that doesn't change the fact that he still kissed me!!!!"
Zeke-"SHUT-UP! It never happened!"
Marina-"Yeah it did!"
Zeke-"IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!!"
Marina-"It'still funny! Hahahahaha!!"
Meanwhile Takuya just made it to the hallway that goes down to Marina's room. He was about to reach her door when Sephiro stopped him. He stopped his father because he didn't want things to get worse between his sister and father. So he volunteered to take Marina's gift to her for his dad. When he got to her door all he could hear was his sister laughing. He knocked on her door, and she unlocked it. He saw his sister crying from laughter and his little brother with Zeke in the back, with digusted looks on their faces. He didn't quite understand what was going on. All he knew is that his sister Marina thought it was funny.
Sephiro-"What's going on in here? What's so funny?"
Marina-"HAHAHAHA! Well you see...."
Zeke-"SHUT UP!!"
Maru-"*Sniffle*.....ZEKE KISSED ME!! IT WAS SOOOO HORRIBLE!! HE KISSED ME!!*sniffle*"
Sephiro-"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! THAT'S SICK, YOU KISSED MY LITTLE BROTHER!!"
Zeke-"I meant to kiss Marina!!"
Sephiro-"Well then....!What?! You sick jerk!!"
Marina-"HAHAHAHA!!!*sniffle*HAHAHAHA!!"
Sephiro-"Even though that's sick, it's funny that you messed up!Hehehe! Oh Marina, before I forget, I have a gift for you."
Marina-"What is it?"
Sephiro-"ARE YOU BLIND?! Dad got you this sword....I mean I did."
Marina-".....I thought that was yours..."
Sephiro-"I wish...but I have my eyes set on a better one."
Marina-"Well then, since you're waiting for yours, you can have...."
Sephiro-"Oh-no I'm not taking yours!! I don't know how it was made, but it suits you....(it gives off that same creepy demonic aura that she has)"
Marina-"...fine then, tell Takuya..."
Sephiro-"You mean dad..."
Marina-"Whatever, just tell him that I said thanks!"
Takuya-"You're welcome."
Marina-"Blek! Just go away!
(sticks her tongue out)
After Takuya left, Marina checked out the sword. To her it was amazing. The aura from the sword surged through her blood when she held it. Maru walked over to her, even though the demonic aura around her scared him (the same aura he had seen when he was littler), and hugged her because he knew she was happy and he loved his big sister.
