Outsiders

~Sam~

I took my seat at the back of the bus. Trinity sat next to me. One look at the sky told me that my time was short. "So...what happens to you when Sammy comes back? What should I tell her?" I smirked. "I'll leave her a letter. It will be fine." She frowned. "A letter?"

The stars were fadding. "We always write letters to each other..." She gave me an unsure smile. "That sounds nice. At least you guys get to talk to each other somehow." I nodded. She didn't say anything about my avoiding the whole 'where do I go' part of her question. I wasn't really sure myself. Blackness. I fear...where the dead end up.

"I want to get all of my items...I was told that if I become a full demon Sammy and I will become 2 again." She frowned. "That doesn't make sense. Wouldn't Sammy just go away and leave you?" My eyes narrowed. "Why would the teachers lie to me?!" Some of the others had turned around when I raised my voice. "It...it's different for everyone I thought?" I felt cold water as a puddle gathered underneath us.

Alex raised his voice. "Oi...Sam leave her alone." I crossed my arms and stared out the window. The watchers slowly went back to their own business. Trinity got really quiet. After a bit I felt bad I had snapped at her, but I won't let anyone tarnish my dream. It's the only thing that keeps the darkness from winning. One day...I will talk to my sister face to face.
