The best part about being on a bus is you pick up on everything! All the juicy going ons of our little group. Also I get to sit next to Yami...and occasionally bump into her when thr bus hits a 'nasty pothole.'
Ai had his head out the window...cute puppy. He growls at me when I call him that, but his face gets so red it's adorable. I asked him once why he sticks his head out. He had turnedturned red and mutter about how he feels car sick when he is in his wolf form.
Alex had his head in a book. He was a good guy. Treated us all like we were his younger sibblings. I could live with that. Being an only child got lonely. Also having an older boy to talk to isn't as awkward as trying to tell your mom about places you were growing hair...or about girls.
Sam and Trinity sat in the back of the bus all alone, but it didn't stop their conversation from traveling. When Trinity brought up the possibility of his dream not working out I cringed. "Bad move kiddo..." Yami was watching me. "Are you listening into other people's business again?" I smirked. "What else is there to do on a bus?" She sighed and rolled her eyes. "You never know what you'll hear. Maybe one day I'll learn some very valuable information."
Alex had enough and told Sam to knock it off. Good thing...I thought Trinity was gonna drown us all. When she freaks out she doesn't control her powers well. At the peak of the fight her cloud had filled the whole bus. Now we were all damp. I heard Sensei mumble about how he was gonna get reamed for the bus being all wet, and chuckled.
Soon enough we were back at the school.
Sensei checked us all back in. "Ok. You all have 30 minutes til dawn...and 5 hours until your first classes. See you all tonight." With that he walked off. I wondered what he did during the day. Maybe one of these days I would have to find out.
We all broke up and headed to our rooms. One of the perks of being an Elite student was having later classes. We had afternoon classes while the regular kids all had to get up at the crack of dawn. Our Dorm building was also separate so we don't get disturbed during our rest. Itl practically fell onto my bed.
"I don't see why you are so tired. It's not like you did anything." I winked at Yami. "I did stuff up here." I pointed to my head. She sighed. "You would need a brain for such a thing." I puffed my face and pouted at her. "You're so mean to me. Why do I put up with you again? There are plenty of other girls who would love to have me fawn over them...even some guys too." That did it. Black flames broke out around her head. She was angry now. I smiled because it ment I had won. So I gave her a prize...I got up and kissed her.
"I missed you. Forgive me for teasing? I just wanted to see if you still felt jealous over me." She turned around so I couldn't see her lose that stone poker face. "Just go to bed already." That was as good of an 'I missed you too.' That I knew I would get from her. But it was enough to sate my needs for attention, and I went back to my bed.
