Freaks of Nature [REVAMP]

~Mai~

My face didn’t stop burning until we got to school. But the day seemed to fly by thankfully. I planned on giving Takumi his secret gift I got him after we got back from our little walk. I wasn’t sure if he was serious or not, but I kind of hoped it was. I had liked him for a long time, a few years actually. And we may have only been dating a month, but we had been close for so much longer than that. We both walked back to his house where I practically lived anyway, and before we walked into the woods, I paused.

“It’s alright, there’s plenty of daylight left.” Takumi smiled at me as he put his hand around my waist. I nodded and smiled back.

“Ok.” We started into the rather densely forested area behind his house. I liked the woods, but never ventured far in because it was easy to get lost. As long as we stayed by the path, things would be just fine. I felt him start to twirl hair and fiddle with it. I chuckled slightly. “You know, if you grew yours out you could monkey around with that.”

“But it tickles my neck.” He was so cute sometimes. I just laughed.

“And you think mine doesn’t?” I asked.

“Well yours is beautiful and it’s always so soft.” He said. I looked away, trying to hide my smile. He was adorable making these moves on me. I could see he was trying.

“No, no one else has naturally green hair. There’s something really wrong with me.” I said. He kissed my cheek softly.

“Well I like it. Come on! Let’s explore!” He exclaimed and grabbed my hand. I grinned. His spontaneity was what kept me on my toes.

“Ok!” I followed his lead and he looked like he was enjoying himself. I hoped he noticed I wore my outfit he always liked seeing me in, and the perfume he bought for me. But if he was serious about earlier, I wasn’t about to just hand it over to him, where was the fun in that? So I let his hand go and ran right and into the woods, and found a bush to hide in. I heard him laugh and he came towards the area I was in.

“Where are you beautiful?” He asked. I slipped out of my hiding spot and snuck up quietly behind him.

“Think fast!” I pounced but he must have known I was there because he spun around and caught me, and we both fell to the ground laughing.

“Was that fast enough?” He asked.

“Yeah.” I smiled and kissed him softly. He started to kiss back but then pulled away.

“What would you think if I got my tongue pierced?” He suddenly asked. I smirked. I loved his piercings, I guess it was one of my many quirks. “I won’t if you don’t want me too.”

“Please do, you know I have a thing for piercings.”

“Do you now?” He smirked back at me and I felt my face heating up. I nodded. “Will you come with me to get it done tomorrow?” He asked.

“I would love to.” I said. I hated needles, but I wanted to be there for him. He kissed me again and right when I was about to intensify it, he pulled back again. Now I didn’t know if he was the tease or I was.

“Oh! I heard that there is an old abandoned house on our land somewhere in the woods, wanna go look for it?” He asked.

“Sure!” I answered. Being inside a building was a bit more appealing than maybe being seen outdoors making out and who knows what else this time. Takumi hopped up and burshed himself off and I did the same.

“Lets go!” He chirped. I hoped he was having a good time. I didn’t care what I was doing, as long as I was with him. I laughed.

“Maybe this time we will have a story for Haru and Aki for once.” I said.

“Do you get sex stories from Aki like I do Haru?” Takumi asked bluntly.

“You bet I do.” And Aki didn’t leave any details to the imagination. I felt my cheeks get really hot.

“What are you thinking?” He asked as he took my hand.

“…Nothing.” I was too embarrassed to look at him.

“That’s not what your cheeks say.” I could hear the grin in his voice. Well, two can play at this.

“Has Haru been influencing you?” I asked.

“What…n-no…” He stuttered and looked the other way. I felt the smile creep up on my face.

“Is that so? Your eyes seem to stray from my face a lot lately.” I said. I had been catching him with his eyes on my chest, which was fairly average, maybe a little on the voluptuous side.

“Ok yes sorry…he’s been tainting me.” He looked defeated.

“That’s ok, Aki has been tainting me too.” I chuckled. I saw a large house coming into view. “Look!” I pointed.

“Awesome!” Takumi sped up and I followed him. It sure looked abandoned, much to my delight. I pointed to a broken window next to the door, which was locked when we tried it.

“Lets get in that way.” I said. He nodded and helped me in, then climbed through himself. The place was beautiful and old, rustic looking. Exactly what I wanted in a house of my own, save for the rotting floorboards and peeling wallpaper. A tile slid down as Takumi took a few steps. I grabbed his arm. “Careful.” I warned.

“It didn’t fall all the way through.” He said.

“Thank god.” I muttered. But this place was amazing, and we were all alone. I pulled him into the next room and hugged him tightly. He hugged me too.

“Happy anniversary.” He whispered. I kissed his nose and smiled.

“Same to you handsome.” I said.

“Should we wander back home and continue what we started in the woods?” He asked. I paused for a moment and thought. I actually liked the idea of being in a new place, and making new memories. Maybe this could be a spot for us or something.

“Why not continue here?” I smiled at him. My heart raced and I wanted him so badly at that moment and I couldn’t control it. It was a little embarrassing because I had never felt this strongly before.

“Well, that way I can keep teasing you.” He looked at me with bedroom eyes. “And we’re not laying on a very old, dirty floor that may give out.” His words said we should leave but his hand slid up under my shirt and found it’s mark. I breathed in a little sharply, confused but quite pleased by the sensation of his touch. I finally found my voice and tried to be equally as seductive.

“Because…a little danger is sexy.” I closed my eyes as my hands found his hips. He kissed me intensely and I kissed back, feeling his hand slide under my bra. But then I heard a hissing sound and opened my eyes. Takumi pulled away. “What’s that?” I asked, and then I saw smoke pooling in at our feet. “T-Takumi!” I jumped.

“It’s not fire smoke, what is happening? We need to go.” He said seriously, pulling his hands back. I couldn’t breathe and when I turned to run, I felt myself fall, and then nothing. Our romantic stroll had just turned into a dangerous Hollywood horror movie.
