♢Takumi♢
It was sleeping gas. Why the hell was a sleeping gas in an old house? Mai collapsed to the floor and I was soon to follow. The last thing that I saw were two pairs of shoes coming towards Mai and I before I couldn’t keep my eyes open and I fell into a deep sleep.
I woke up to looking at a white ceiling with a bright light in the room making me cover my eyes from the light. “Where am I?” I muttered. “The last thing I remember is…”I sat up quickly. “The gas, Where’s Mai?” I looked around in panic. I was in a small white room on a cot. It reminded me of a doctor’s office. But I know that is now where close to where I am.
The door to the room I was in opened up to have a women with raven black hair and deep purple eyes walked into the room. Just be looking at her I could tell that she was taller then I was. I know that I was only 18 but I should be hitting growth spurts by now. My father is six foot something. If I end up being my mothers height for the rest of my life that will really suck so bad.
“I see that your finally awake.” Obvious things are obvious.
“Where’s Mai?” I asked. She was more important than whatever there was going on.
“She’s fine. And If you be a good boy and listen to me then I’ll let you see her.” The women smiled at me.
She just gave off a really bad vibe. I didn’t like her at all. Just who exactly was she? The women placed her left hand into her pocket and pulled out a pill that was the size of a horse pill. “Take this.” She said to me.
She was seriously trying to drug me?! “Hell no.” I turned my head away.
“Fine then I’ll just give it to your little girlfriend then and see what it does to her.” She said lightly with almost a laugh.
“NO! No, I’ll take your stupid pill.” I frowned and she smirked at me then walked over and handed me the pill. I looked at orange pill for a few seconds before taking a breath and then tossing the pill into my mouth swallowing it whole and coughing a bit at I felt it go down my throat.
“You naïve boy, the pill wouldn’t have worked on her anyways. We already checked and her body won’t allow her to have a flexible DNA.” The women waved at me.
WHAT?! The hell did I just take? Something with DNA? I don’t get it. What the hell was going on? For some reason I felt like I my body was on fire. It was a good thing that I was sitting down on the cot I don’t think that I could move my legs even if I tried. I saw some movement and my eyes shot up to see the women bringing her hand up to her ear. “Bring her in, I’m feeli….” Her voice cut out on me. The only thing that I could hear was a high-pitched ringing that was in my head. I had so me pressure in my head I didn’t need this ringing sound on top of it.
The door opened up with a very loud squeak. It didn’t do that earlier though. “Where do you want her?” The guy was practically yelling. But when I looked at him he was talking normally. There was no tension in his neck of face indicating that he was yelling. What was going on with me?
“Just stick her over by him.” The women commented gesturing towards me.
The man came over and set Mai down next to me. She had the sent of blood on her. Did that pill that the women give me improve all my senses? If it could make me grow a bit I would be fine with that. Being the shortest guy in the entire class for all of your school life was a little annoying and started to get to ya after a while. But why am I thinking about that now? Mai was here.
“Takumi…” She said sounding half asleep.
“Your safe.” I smiled happily as I felt something was tickling my neck. A cold sensation shot down my spin and a shooting pain concentrated around my tailbone.
“Are you okay?” She asked me slowly reaching her hand out to me.
Was she always so slow? Why am I thinking like t his? I’ve never been this self-centered. That pill must be doing something to me to make me think this way. After the cold sensation around my tailbone I felt really drained. Like I ran a marathon. The heat still didn’t fade from the rest of my body. It was making me feel really tired.
“I feel really tired all of a sudden.” I said out loud.
“No Takumi, please don’t leave me all alone.” She was practically crying in her voice.
I wish I could have comforted her, but I just couldn’t keep my eyes open as I felt gravity take over and I landed on my back on the cot before I couldn’t hear anything anymore.
I don’t think that I was a sleep for very long. I felt something touching me. It was as if I had a cat like reflexes and I felt my hand snatch whatever it was that was touching me. My eyes flew open to see a young man who was more then likely a little older then Mai and myself. He has a strong facial structure and messy blonde hair that fell gracefully in front of his left eye. The way that I grabbed his hand obviously shocked him and he quickly pulled himself away.
“I-I’ll come back to you.” He said. He had a very smooth voice that I’m sure that any women would swoon over.
I don’t like him…not one bit. He went back over to Mai and I hissed, “Don’t you touch her.” as I quickly sat up. Something brushed my arm.
When I looked down deep red hair was leaning against my arm. That couldn’t be my hair is it? I felt my ears twitch. But they were…on top of my head? I put my hands on top of my head and sure enough there was two soft ears sitting on top of my head poking out of my hair. Was I turned into a neko?????
