♢Takumi♢
I could tell that Mai was starting to calm down. I’m glad that she calming down.
“So when do you think we’ll get out of here?” Mai asked me.
I shrugged. “I honestly don’t know. I hope that we’re not stuck in here forever. But I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to go to school. Not with looking like this.” I pouted and pushed my ears down against me head.
This sucked. I was doing so well in school too…ugh this sucks so much. I also wanted to go to college for science like mom and dad did. I was good in it so why not. I was going to more then likely minor in art because that is what I really enjoy and it helps me relax greatly.
Maybe I’ll try to draw a bit if I can convince these people to let me have paper and a pen or pencil.
“What’s going through your head?” I looked down at Mai as I let my hands slip off my ears and they popped back up.
“I wasn’t thinking about much really. Nothing that important.” I replied as she reached up and pushed my ears down with her own hands and then slid her hands down to let my ears pop back up on their own.
She was so amused by this it was honestly kind of funny. The door creaked open and the lady scientist from before that tricked me to taking that stupid pill that made me t his way came in.
“Well I see that you seem to be adjusting nicely to your new body.” She smirked and my ears went down and I started to growl in my throat. “How cute.” She put her right hand into her lab jacket pocket and pulled out a prescription bottle filled with pills and then threw them at me. “Catch.”
I stopped growling and snatched the bottle out of the air and looked at the bottle. It had my name on it. It was as if it was medication for me. Like there wasn’t possibly something completely wrong with me.
“That will help you hide your new features so you can go to school. You two are free to go.” The women said.
I blinked confused. Really? That’s it? She does this shit to us and then suddenly she just lets us go? I was about to say something when Mai slapped her hand over my mouth with her left hand and hooked her right arm with my left and made me stand up.
“Come on Takumi lets go.” Mai said pulling me along.
“How cute. You’re listening to her like a little obedient animal.” The lady commented and I glared at her as we walked by.
The young male scientist that was touching the love of my life showed us the way out. “Now you two will have to come back for check ups.” He stated as he handed Mai a folded note. “Here’s my number incase anything happens.” He smiled.
I looked at Mai and her cheeks flushed as I felt her body heat up a little bit.
“What the hell do you think your doing? That’s my girlfriend you just gave your number to. What are you trying to hit on her? You won’t like the out come of that buddy.” I started to get into his face when Mai grabbed the back of my shirt and started to pull me away with her.
I gave him the I’ve got me eye on you stare and point as I stumbled backwards while Mai made me walk away before I could do anything to the guy. I turned around and shoved my hands in my pockets as we walked back towards me house.
“Why are you pouting?” Mai asked me.
I turned my head away from her, “I’m not pouting.” I answered obviously I was.
“Yes you are. It was nothing serious. He is a scientist and in case something goes wrong it is probably a good thing that we have his number.” Mai told me.
“But I can take care of you. I’ve learned a lot from my mom and dad.” I instantly turned my head back to look at her.
She smiled and couldn’t help but laugh a little. “Are you jealous Takumi?” She asked me.
“O-of course not…” I turned me head away from her again.
“You totally are.” She started laughing.
I puffed out my cheeks. It wasn’t fair how could I get back at her. I turned back to look at her. “I’m cutting it off when we get back.” I answered.
“What??!!!” She asked shocked.
“I’m cutting my hair when we get back to my house.” I said to her.
