So we continued to talk and eat fries when I saw Kelsey rest her head on Christian’s shoulder. Christian smiled at her and then started to hold her. No way. Seriously? Why wasn’t I told about that? I then proceeded to punch Christian in the face over and over. He was bleeding out of his face. I then burned him up with a spell. But I didn’t. I imagined it though. What was I mad about?
I couldn’t have her anyway, being a Demon Hunter and all. Man, my life sucked. I continued to eat the overly salty fries and drank the rest of my Coca Cola product. I then made up a fake excuse to leave the humans that didn’t know anything about a fire demon substitute teacher at school. I went through the rest of the school day thinking, Christian is dating Kelsey. I was flabbergasted. Yes, so angry I expanded my vocabulary. The final bell had rang and I went to talk to Kelsey after school.
“So, You and Christian huh?” I asked.
“Yeah.” she replied happily.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” I asked.
“I told you right?” she questioned.
“No.”
“Oh well, now you know.”
“Then I’m guessing you’re taking him to Twirp then.” I said quite depressed.
(Twirp was our girls ask guys prom)
“Yep.”
“Well, I guess I’ll wait for some one then. Hopefully it’s not a creepy chick that eats teenage boys.”I said. But it’s most likely, considering it could be a devourer demon. They’re pretty nasty.
Kelsey laughed. Her beautiful laugh that could make the birds sing.
“Well, see you on Monday.” said Kelsey
“I will.” Thank goodness for Fridays.
She then started to leave me to Christian, enveloping herself in his arms. They kissed too. Damn. Lucky guy. Unless he hurts her then he won’t be lucky to have my sword go through him. I got into my car and drove home. I got out and went inside, dropping my backpack on the floor.
