GOFER OPS, NEW BLOG DESIGN, AND COMMISSIONS

Hey all!

Its been a week since my last serious post and a lot has happened since. First off I got done my BRAND NEW BLOG DESIGN FOR MY SWEETS DECO BLOG. I've gotten some extra motivation in the past week to finish it and a lot of different things. Including my material costs list for my clay. Which was a huge step for me because I needed to know how much money each charm is to make. Now I'll do the same thing with my paper clay projects and then I can move on to the next step. I'm so close to opening my shop I can taste it haha. People have been asking about my charms too which is really exciting. Just a little bit longer and I'll be there in my dream! XD You can hear more about my deco adventures on the blog since I updated it today.

In more SUPER EXCITING NEWS I've started taking commissions, like the real ones XD. It started with me getting back into Latale and looking at its fan art section of the forums. And of course I saw people with sales posts drawing for the game money "ely". Seeing some of the artist there I figured it shouldn't be that hard to attract a costumer and some good amount of "ely". About a week later in a burst of energy and happiness I got down and typed up a sales post of my own within 2 hours and I had it posted. Within a few more hours I had a taker that wanted 2 drawings for 3 million each when my original price was only 1 million each. Gosh, my instincts have been so sharp lately since I've been following them closer lately. Now, I posted a commissions entry on a deco den forum that I go to and I got a taker that will PM me about tomorrow, how exciting! *A* Now I want to dip my feet into the adoptable market like I wanted to do before. I can't wait to see what happens.

Also a lot of strange things have been happening around food. I seem to get doubles or extra change back. Two times in this month that I got doubles of my orders. The first one being an order of fried dumplings that I got from the Chinese store. I guess in my mix up they though that I ordered two but only charged for one. Then a few days ago I got an extra combo meal at Wendy's! When I first got my meal they called me back because they had forgotten something. I thought they forgot the fries ( I didn't look in my bag at all) since I heard the lady say something about "she wanted a double" or something like that. So I assumed that she forgot the fries. I take back my bag, go the table and look inside and there is 2 burgers, 2 fries! Then when I asked my friend about his meal and it wasn't combined with mine so I knew that it was some kind of mistake. The best thing about it was that I didn't' get charged, and yeah I kept it. I never turn down free food. XD

The last story is really good. I ordered pizza and my dad gave me the money and tip for the delivery boy and nothing more so there will be no change. So the man comes and I give him the money and say that he can keep the rest. So he's going through the money when I'm about to close the door and hands me a 10 DOLLAR BILL. So I though maybe my dad slipped up and had an extra bill in there or something when I swore I counted it more then once. So I take the money and think back on it a few times and yeah I DID COUNT RIGHT, this man just gave me free money. The best part of it was that I wanted 50 dollars for the Con meeting that I was going to that following day. I only asked my dad for 40 and before you know it some guy hands me 10 more to complete my original request of 50 dollars. XD I've been having some kind of luck lately, this year is starting swell!

Last topic is that I'm going to be volunteering at the Zenkaicon this year as a Gofer OP! I basically walk around all day and tell people to do dummy missions. As well as signing people in and out of the gofer group and supply people with food tickets for free food. Its going to be my first time at Zenkaicon and its right where I graduated college too. The ultimate goal is to be able to drive there. SO BAD I want to learn how to drive by then so I don't have to take the damn bus. We also had our first major meeting and everyone but me, Brandon, and his friend had or was traveling in a car. It was super cold too so standing outside waiting for a bus wasn't fun. So cross your fingers that I'll be driving at the coming con this March!

Thanks for reading this super huge post full of good news! I really appreciate it. :)
