Karu and Tomoyo went into the forest, Ice tagging along. A light flashed and blinded Karu and Tomoyo for a short time. There was now a floating blue light in front of them.

"You should not go any farther into the forest." a voice said. "Danger awaits you." "What will happen if we go into the forest?" Tomoyo said.

"This is The Dark Forest. Anything that goes into the Forest will never come out, and if they do, they will become dark and not be able to come out. There was once a little boy who ran into the forest with his dog and never was seen again." the voice said.

Karu and Tomoyo ran past the light. "What did I just tell you?!" the voice yelled angrily.
