A teenage boy with black hair and red eyes appeared out of a bush. "Oh no! It's an enemy! Attack him!" Tomoyo yelled.

Ice ran over to the boy, growled and hissed at him, and clawed and bit him. "Who are you?" he asked. "I am Karu Miyama. This is my friend, Tomoyo Yokuchi. And this is my cat Ice. Who are you?"

"I am Grey Miyohama. I was only three when I went into this forest. I was never allowed out of the forest, so I stayed here. Now I am eighteen and under an eternal curse," he sighed.

Grey lead them to a dog. It was light brown and white. It was a large dog, and had long fur. It had large ears that stood up on its head, and a long tail. "This is Yoko. She has been my loyal dog ever since I was two. She was only a puppy when I went into the forest."
