A wolf-like creature barked at them and attacked Karu. The scratch on her arm was bleeding heavily. She was bleeding so hard she collapsed.

Tomoyo ran over to her. "Are you okay?" Karu did not answer. "Please don't be dead," Tomoyo cried.

Karu woke up. "W-What j-j-just h-ha-happened?" she stuttered. "You just got scratched and bitten by a wolf." he said. "Oh, so I fainted from blood loss?" she asked.

"Quick, find a stick or something to attack with! They're coming after us!" Karu yelled nervously. She found a stone and threw it at the wolf-like creatures.
