Kingdom Hearts 3D News

Okay it has been awhile but we have news and it is my duty to put on my Clark Kent glasses and report. The Tokyo Game Show was last week so there’s a bunch of new information about KH3D and I feel like we should break this down the good ‘ol fashion way. A list!

• The game takes place after KH2.
• Oh Riku has a haircut!
• Sora and Riku are off to take their MoM (Mark of Mastery) exam with Yen Sid.
• Yen Sid says “Let’s open the keyhole of sleep. If you return back to this place, then I will consider you Masters.”
• Sora and Riku get de-aged with new outfits. Oh and apparently they forgot how to fight… again.
• Sora goes to Traverse Town which gets two new districts.
• Also Neku from The World Ends With You meets Sora in Traverse Town.
• Meanwhile we get to see that Riku meets up with Quasimodo and Esmeralda.
• The new monsters are named Dream Eaters. There are two kinds; ones that fight alongside of you (Spirits) and the bad guys of the game (Nightmares).
• Okay so apparently there are three types of worlds. There are worlds that are in light and worlds in darkness. THEN there are worlds that are in sleep, and these worlds are where KH3D takes place. So the game is like a collective dream? Anyhoo you can wake these worlds up and restore them to their original form.
• So with sleep being a theme in this game and the MoM there is a connection to BBS.
• Braig! I don’t know how he fits in but apparently Even and Ienzo are there too with Xehanort getting a keyblade.
• 3D is utilized in the game and even in 2D apparently you can make your eyes tired/get dizzy so you can’t marathon it. Nomura says the cut scenes should be watched in 3D because what I need in my life is Sora popping out at me. Also that new side panel/nub thing for the 3DS is used as well.
• Anyhoo it will be released in spring 2012 in Japan which means we should expect to see it state-side in the fall or winter.

News - Haru?

Looks like KH news will be dying down and replaced by Avatar new. Enjoy!
Pictured above is Isaac Solstein, who's been casted in the movie as an 'Earth Bending Boy'.
Not that big of news though right? Possibly wrong!
According his his father, Isaac's character should be apparent to fans of the cartoon.
Logical guess? Haru.
Thoughts? Nice to see some more Asian actors, nice to know the kid has previous acting under his belt (even if this is his first movie), is currently a blackbelt and going for his second degree soon. Downside... his age. Haru was most defiantly one of the older characters. And Katara's first love interest, even though she never seemed to notice. Oh well, I suppose his age (and funky mustache later on) isn't that big of a deal with the over all plot.

News - September!

Huzzah!
Amazon has a date set for 358/2!
Dunno if its official or what, we'll have to see.
We do know most of the Org cast has confirmed that they're coming back, so I'm gonna guess this rough date has some weight to it.
Yaaaaaay!

Also... isn't the game out in Japan already? I'm not sure. If its not out now, then sometime this week.

Okay, so I use to think I was just a softie for Roxas D: faces, but Riku's are also starting to get to me...
