Okkkk. So I finally entered this challenge! You think I'd have the 5 submissions by now. XD But this is my first. Why do I say that? It's just you know I like to make inspirational cards. But lately, I haven't gotten the chance. O__O So anyhoo, E-chan, I hope you are feeling better! Your art is very amazing as well. :)

Here is the original scan. I thought it was soooo pretty. And I chose this and my color scheme to PROVE that I could make another blue/purple one. XD I told saxgirl how I am not that great at using purples for some reason...you know I love my warm colors. ^^; And yet I love purple. So anyhoo, I used that scan...duplicated it a few times, sharpened some, blurred others, made it brighter, added more purples and blues and such. Brushwork, and then the text that took me a long while to decide on its arrangement. >< Argh. I think it's ok now...they're lyrics taken from this song, Sugarcane by Missy Higgins. (I couldn't find a good version on youtube.)"Grow tall, sugarcane."
