My first hockey digital portrait! I've been wanting to paint Sidney Crosby digitally for a while but after meeting fellow sporty artist Que-Ink on DA, I finally got inspired enough to get to work and stop procrastinating xD

Sid took me 10-12 hours to do over the course of 1.5 days on SAI.
I used a main ref photo and also a couple other pics for detail reference. The background bokeh is a texture from google.
Lol my style and patience are still developing ^^" A lot of it is still experimenting with digital brushes xD The helmet straps were a pain but I might go back later to fix 'em up more.
