My entry for Josephine12Cute's I heart theOtaku! challenge.

This was quite challenging to make. I had no idea what to do. Not when I started, or until the point I finished. It just sorta made itself. And, I think it shows. Maybe too much.

I tried different ideas, and I experimented a lot with the font/typography. I finally got it in a way that I liked, and after that I was stumped. I tried different textures, I tried ghosting the font and putting very transparent anime pictures in it. I tried throwing chibi anime characters around on it. But nothing set with me. I finally got a background I sorta liked, and I threw some brush work on it, and did some experimenting there, too.

The only thing I have to credit is the texture I used for the background. The rest of it is mostly brushes found from DA, or some generic brushes that come with my software. And that's it.

I might make a new version, with Chibi Vocaloids on it, but not to submit into the challenge. After browsing other entries, I decided I liked them better without characters~

Now, why I love theOtaku:

I've been here for two and a half years. After the first week, I fell in love with the site. fma17, and Sasuke Uchia were my first subscribers, and they gave me a warm welcome to the site. Everyone seemed (and still is) incredibly friendly and inviting. A lot of people on the internet are ridiculously rude and cruel, but not the people of theO. It truly is like a family. I've made so many friends and memories here. I've met some people who have changed my life forever. I'm especially grateful to this site because, if it wasn't for this site, I wouldn't have ever met Josephine12Cute, HelloKatty, XNotUnderstood, Hulaberry32, LightFykki and most importantly, Ecnelisterger <33~

This site has bettered me as not only an artist, but as a person in general. I feel like I'm a much better human now that I've finally had some friends, and I've finally found something (besides music) that I truly feel passionate about. My life has been much happier, and more complete ever since I joined this site. I really don't know what I'd do if I hadn't ever stumbled upon this place~
