“Alright but remember to keep yourself under control. No waving like a child.” Clara said sternly. But Lilly was already out the door and across the hallway. She headed towards the balcony over looking the courtyard at the entrance of the castle where she could see him come in. The fear she would miss him got the better of her and she lifted her skirt and began running. Rushing out onto the balcony into the sunlight she looked across the slated circular space to the gated entrance.
She could see four horses just coming through and him in the lead. She had to practically bite her tongue to stop herself from calling out to him. Her excitement of seeing Jaden again didn’t take away from her curiosity. She looked past him to the three men following behind. She gaped at the first who looked remarkably like Jaden. His long coppery hair left down, whipped around in the breeze. Behind him was a smaller thinner man with black hair that stuck up everywhere giving him a porcupine look. Lilly stared for a moment seeing his eyes were not yellow but red. Then coming up to ride beside him was a very large brutish looking man with hair that practically glowed in the sunlight like fresh fallen snow. He wore a goatee on his chin that hung down to his chest and a black leather vest with brown fur lining it. She could tell he lived in colder climate, perhaps from the north.
They were all so different from each other and yet the obvious truth was that they were Rizel. Her eyes went back to the first though, his resemblance to Jaden astounded her. He must have felt her eyes on him because he looked up meeting her gaze.
Lilly stopped breathing as his piercing stare became more intense. His attention turned Jaden’s head up as well. She resisted the urge to wave and simply bowed her head slightly with a smile. Utter astonishment flash across his face as he bowed his head in return. Then his smile slipped and he looked away as a butler came out to usher then into the castle, most likely to see the prince. He along with the two other Rizel went in. The first one though, the one who looked like Jaden stayed staring up at her with a curious expression on his face. Then with a flourished bow he joined the others.
