And for some reason that made me very angry, the thing that I’ve wanted from every other human I was getting from this girl but I didn’t want that from her! I wanted her to look into my eyes and give me a faint smile that would most likely take my breath away. I wanted to feel her breath on my skin, my stony hard skin, and realize she felt the same way about me to…
Snap out of it Marcus! If any of that happened you would most likely be attending her funeral sooner than liked!
Kiley looked at me and gave me a little push. “What’s wrong?” A crease formed between her eyebrows.
I shook my head, “Nothing to concern you with.”
Though Kiley didn’t like that answer she kept to herself and continued to gaze out the window.
My eyes kept moving towards her direction wondering if she was looking at me. I didn’t care if she scowled at me or smiled, I just wanted to see her. And there I was, looking at her like a stalker.
And I saw something that I didn’t like. She was kissing someone, probably her boyfriend; someone that beautiful probably had a boyfriend. Something was burning inside of me. Yearning to go over there and wrench that worthless humans head off and steel her away.
My hands tightened on the table, leaving dents. Quickly I ran my hand over it to smooth it out. Can’t mess things up on the first day I looked over at her again and the boy was playing with her hair, and smiling at her since she was all his. A growl surfaced to the back of my throat. Though it wasn’t anything human’s ears could’ve heard my family sure did notice it.
Stephen’s head whipped around to look at me and he also let a low growl out. ‘What the hell is your problem, why are you acting like this?!’ Stephen’s thoughts screamed at me. Since we are that of a coven we are able to talk to each other with our minds and we are only aloud to hear what the other wants us to hear.
‘I don’t know… but I think I’m going insane…’
‘Uh, YA THINK?! You’ve never acted like this before! You’ve always been the older brother, always making sure that WE don’t mess up. Now here you are, growling and breaking tables!’
‘Stephen’s right Marcus, you need to calm down. Maybe you should go hunting this weekend, to calm yourself down. William and Georgia will understand. We all need a little time away from our fake lives and just let ourselves go.’
They were right. After today I was going to go to Europe to hunt and get calm. I nodded and tried to calm myself down. Then the bell rang and I calmly, ran like hell out of there. My next class was Geometry, I was taking sophomore classes.
I walked through the door knowing I would be the first one there. Mr. Turner, a fairly intelligent plump man was sitting at his desk with a bag of McDonald’s food in his left hand and a fourth of a Big Mac in his right. He stuffed the rest of the fattening sandwich in his mouth.
