Outsiders

Trinity:

As I walked towards the tanuki the cloud over my head started to darken and rummble. I reached up into it and grabbed my staff, it was a simple dark wood but it was engraved throughout with scars from lightning going through it.

The tanuki must've heard the rumbling of the cloud as I got closer because they were now glaring at me with pure hatred. I felt bad for them. It wasn't there fault, they just wanted their home back. But we couldn't afford the humans getting wind of them.

I pointed my staff at them and a bolt of lightly went through it from my cloud. It missed which was the point. I didn't want to hurt them. I hoped that I could just scared them off. But even though they jumped away they still glared at me and started moving toward me. I guess I didn't have any other choice the. To get rid of them.

The first one jumped at me and I dodged it. As soon the first one was past me the second one already was right in front of me. I quickly hit it with my staff and as I hit it a jolt of electricity went through the staff killing the tanuki right away. I point back at where the first tanuki would of been and a crack of lightning went that way. I wasn't sure if it hit or not because another tanuki came at me I did the same as the one before but as I did I felt weight on my back as the first tanuki jumped onto it. I fell to my knees in pain as the first tanuki got tangled in my hair and started to claw at me. I screamed in pain as the tanuki dug into my back. As I screamed lightning surrounded me and hit the tanuki burning it ashes. I quickly swung my staff as another tanuki jumped at me.

I leaned onto my hands panting as lightning continued to crack around me. My cloud was now on auto and was trying to protect me as much as it could. It couldn't hit targets at will, because the lightning was random but there was a lot of it.

I knew I had to get I up quickly. I breathed in and pushed myself up ready to get back to fighting. But as I looked around there wasn't any more tanuki and Sam was standing with his scythe out.

I sighed and looked at him. I wish he wouldn't of finished them. I could of done it. I went to walk toward him but I ended up falling to my knees again. I looked down and there was red surrounding me. I frowned and winced as I tried to move my shoulders. The tanuki must of really done a number on my back. The rain around me started to down pour and I winced more as the cold pelets of rain hit my back. I winced again as I pulled my hair off of my back to let the rain tried to clean out the wound. I closed my eyes and waited for some to come help me or something. I hated feeling weak but I knew I couldn't so much right now and I hoped Sam at least would be nice enough to help..
