Naruto Review

Invasion of Konoha Arc

Story

Although this arc had some incredible stand-out moments in quality of story, moments that yanked you to tears, the quality of story isn't consistent throughout. It seems more repetitive and tedious than the past couple of arcs, without enough of the edge-of-your-seat factor.

Characters

Only two characters get developed in this arc, and one's development didn't completely pull me in. It was too brief, and didn't bring enough emotion to make me care for as the character as an individual as much as I felt I should have.

However, the development of the other character was done incredibly. It made you see the world from that character's eyes, and made you completely connect with that character, feeling all of the emotions along the way.

The lack of all the characters as a whole, however, did bring the quality of the character section down.

6.8

Animation

Neither the action nor the animation didn't keep completely keep up to par to what I knew it could be. A lot of the action seemed oversimplified compared to the other action scenes. However, they did have at least a couple pretty decent action scenes, however.

My biggest complaint would be how they would brush over a scene reminding you of what you already knew without adding any new information. They did this with one scene enough times that it became fairly annoying to me.

6.7

Music

The opening was done pretty well, though the ending was, once again, skippable.

The background music was still the same good tracks, though nothing new was brought to the table.
