I was splashing Lee with some water and laughing. I was glad I was getting a bit better, and I was more at ease in the water. Snow was right, I did pick up on it quick, although I would have loved it if Snow could have been teaching me. He wasn’t comfortable in the water in general though and I respected that. He had enough water contact lately though. I chuckled at the thought. But then I heard him gasp and he sat straight up and looked around almost in a panic. “Snow? Are you ok? What’s wrong?” I asked as I swam to the edge of the pool.
“It was a dream…” He held his head.
“Aw, he had a nightmare…poor kitten got scared.” Lee said. Snow didn’t respond with a glare or anything. He just shook his head.
“It was like Talon and I were humans in it.” He said seriously.
“Well, maybe you want to be human because Candice is?” Lee suggested. Snow shook his head.
“No, well yeah but, in it we were little kids, and then we were a little older, and something bad happened…”
“It’s ok Snow, it was just a dream.” I lifted myself out of the pool and dried off before getting on my knees beside him.
“Is everything alright?” I looked over and saw Talon and Light coming over to us. “Showing skin must be a thing with you today.”
“I-I’m swimming!” I defended and Talon laughed. I looked at Light, who just smiled at me.
“Where’s Vic?” I asked. He put a hand on his forehead.
“Well, he’s hiding in the trees watching. I told him you weren’t going to bite him and he said he just couldn’t be around you while you were dressed like that. I don’t think he can handle such beauty.” Light said and I was very taken aback.
“Oh, uh…” I felt Snow’s arm curl around my waist and he pulled me closer.
“Thanks.” Snow answered. I blushed a little but smiled. “And I had a strange dream, that’s all.”
“He said he was human in it, and so were you Talon.” Lee popped up between us and put his arms around both Snow and I, to which Snow pushed him forward and then put his arm around me again.
“Now that would be kind of cool.” Talon nodded. “But I get the feeling it wasn’t a great dream. Something happened to us yeah? Did, we get kidnapped?” I blinked and looked up at Snow who looked just as surprised as I probably did.
“Y-Yeah! How did you know?!” Snow asked, completely bewildered.
“Because, I had the same dream last night.” Talon said.
“Do you think this could mean something?” I wondered.
“Maybe, but I’m not entirely sure. It could just be a weird coincidence. What we really came to say was that lunch is on the table.” Talon said. “So come join us before it gets cold.”
“Ok, I’ll go change. Did you want to just head there and eat?” I asked.
“I’ll gladly escort her to her room and help her get changed.” Lee grinned.
“No! That’s my job! I’ll see you in a few minutes. You had your time with Candy.” Snow said to Lee, who pouted.
“Not fair at all…you slept with her and got to spend tons of time alone with her…” Lee complained.
“Actually, he fell asleep almost immediately.” I said.
“What a light weight! The sake made him drift off to sleep when he could have been rolling around and-”
“T-That’s enough! Lets go!” Snow scooped me up and started running away with me and I just laughed hard and held onto him.
