“Lee, is this about the incident before dinner?” I asked with a small smile.
“Yeah. I want to make it up to you.” Lee said. I looked at Snow, who just looked surprised.
“Alright, I’ll be down in half an hour ok?” I answered Lee.
“Yes!” And with that he ran out of the room and the door closed behind him.
“Really?” Snow asked, looking sad.
“He feels bad. And I think learning how to swim will benefit me. You can come too, and make sure I’m safe. How’s that? And I did buy us some more time.” I suggested. He pouted a little and I flipped on top of him again and whispered in his ear. “You can see me in a bathing suit if you come.” I said. His face turned slightly pink.
“You know I don’t like water. But I’ll come watch.” He said. I smiled down at him.
“Ok. And I’m sorry he just barged in on us.”
“That’s alright.” He muttered. He was clearly irritated with Lee, and it sorta made me smile. I gently kissed his cheek.
“And next time you don’t have to be so worried about hurting me. You can be a little rough, I’m not that delicate.” I chuckled.
“D-Don’t you need to find a bathing suit?” He asked. I hopped up off the bed and skipped to the door.
“Alright!” I whipped open the door and ran smack into Talon. I shook my head and looked up at him, and he raised his eyebrows.
“Well what do we have here? Dressed a little skimpy aren’t we? Cleavage front and center.” He chuckled as I crossed my arms over my chest and my face turned red. “I just came to talk to Snow.” He said.
“Ok!” I squeaked and rushed to my own room. How embarrassing… I couldn’t allow anyone else to see me like that. I dug through the dresser and found a cute two piece suit with small black and white stripes on it, with a ring in the center of the top and on the sides where the bottoms sat on my hips. I liked it, and I grabbed a towel and wrapped it around me in preparation of the walk to the pool. I opened my door and found Snow standing there, waiting for me. It made my heart jump and my body warm. It was the little things like that that made me like him so much; it showed he actually cared.
“Ready?” He asked. I nodded and we walked to the pool together. I got more and more nervous as I got closer to the pool. “It’s alright, you’ll pick it up quick I’m sure.” He said. I hopped on my feet a few times, trying to psych myself up.
“Yes! I can do this!” I pep talked myself. “I’m like a whale! No, wait…” I paused and Snow laughed. I pushed him slightly and laughed with him and we approached the pool, and saw Lee gracefully swimming around.
