~Candice~

I went and changed clothes again. I was glad to see a closet and dresser full of clothes for me. I just put on some regular casual clothes and left to get Snow to go to Amora. “If you’re honest I think she will appreciate it.” I said.

“I guess…” He answered me. We got to her doors and I knocked and held Snow’s hand as we walked in.

“Goddess Amora?” I asked. She was standing in front of her desk and looked at Snow, who had his head lowered.

“You broke the seal.” She said.

“It was-” I started and she held up her hand.

“He must have desperately wanted to save you. It can only break like that if his intentions are completely pure.” She smiled a little. “Therefore I won’t make him little again, but he will wear the necklace for a month.” Snow blinked and looked surprised and I grinned.

“Thank you!” I said. She chuckled softly.

“Now off to dinner, the both of you.” I nodded and pulled Snow’s hand and we headed to the dining room.

“See! I told you, that’s great!” I said.

“Well someone is happy.” Snow glanced at me with a small smirk.

“Well, of course I am…” I said as I opened up the doors.

“Oh look at that, he’s back to his normal self.” Talon looked at Snow. I saw that Lee looked a bit disappointed and Light and Vic just smiled. “You must have won Amora’s favor.”

“Yeah, I did.” The two empty seats were across the table from each other and I took the one by Vic and Talon was to my left at the head of the table.

“Eat whatever you want Candice.” Light said and I finally noticed all of the food sprawled out in front of me. It was nothing short of a feast. There was a ham in the center, honey glazed. Potatoes and fresh vegetables on fancy platters were scattered and just baked rolls and bread with melty butter. Along with ham there was roast beef and steaks, still steaming. And…fish! I put a fish of broiled fish onto my plate as well as a few pieces of sushi and a small bed of greens and vegetables on the side.

“Yes!” I ate and savored everything. I noticed Snow watching me with a small smile and he grabbed a jug and poured himself a glass of it.

“Are you sure you should be drinking?” Talon asked.

“I’m a grown up! I can drink sake if I want to.” Snow defended and he and Talon began arguing.

“Come on Talon, he’s had a rough few days. He can have one drink.” I smiled at him and Snow beamed at me.

“I could order you not to drink it you know.” Talon said. Snow’s ears went down.

“What?” I asked.

“He didn’t tell you? The necklace makes it so he has to do what he is told to do. But if he is ordered too much he gets sick.” Talon explained.

“Oh…” I said. It made sense. But Talon kept quiet and allowed Snow to have a drink or two. The table was cleared and dessert was brought out. A large range of cake and pies and ice creams and chocolates and fruit now adorned the table. I snatched up the chocolate covered strawberries for myself. Best meal ever! Snow however reached over and stole a strawberry. I pouted at him and he leaned across the table and popped it into my mouth with a soft smile, his cheeks lightly pink.

“Eww…get a room you two…” Lee stuck his tongue out at Snow and I blushed and shifted in my seat a little.
