Talon wouldn’t let me go so I just gave up and let him carry me into the dining room. When we got there and Talon set me down I sighed and just sat down in my usual spot.
Light and Vic walked in, but Candy wasn’t with them. “Where’s Candy?” I asked.
“She went to go get Lee to bring him to dinner.” Light answered as he sat down across from me.
“Was that a good idea to let her go alone?” Talon questioned raising an eyebrow. As if on que there was a scream and it was Candy’s.
I jumped to my feet in an instant and I sprinted out of the dining hall and towards the pool. If only I were back to my normal age I could get there faster. I prey that she’s alright. When I got there I saw that she was in the pool barely keeping her head above water.
‘I have to save her.’ I thought and ran towards the edge of the pool. There was a cloud of smoke around me and I was my proper age again as I dove into the pool. I hated water, but I cared about Candy more. She needed to be saved.
I came up for air next to her and wrapped one of my arms around her then pulled her to the edge, lifted her out of the pool and then got out myself.
“Thank you Snow.” Candy said as I pulled my hair out of the bun that Candy put it in earlier, which was straining my hair tie anyways since I am now my normal height so lots more hair.
“Did I mention how much I dislike water.” I commented as I started to wring out my hair.
“I’m so sorry Candice, I didn’t know that you couldn’t swim.” Lee apologized as he got out of the pool himself. “I’ll go get you two towels.” He said then ran off before I could say anything to him.
“I’m getting really tired of changing my clothes today too.” I sighed letting my hair go after ringing out whatever water I could.
“I guess it’s a good thing I went to Lady Amora earlier and asked for more clothes.” She laughed lightly as Lee came back and chucked my towel in my face and gently place a towel on Candice’s shoulders.
I growled a bit as my towel slipped off my face and eye twitched. “I’m alright. Thank you Lee. We should all go changed for dinner though. It’ll be done soon.” Candy said standing up pulling the towel around her more.
“Alright so I’ll see you two in a few then.” Lee waved and then ran off to his room.
I walked to Candy back to our rooms so we could get changed once again. “Thank you for saving me Snow.” She said and I looked down at her to smiling a little at me.
Her smile was contagious and I couldn’t help but smile a little back. “You’re welcome. All I did was get you out of the water and probably get myself into even more trouble for breaking another seal.” I answered and looked ahead again.
“You saved me I don’t think that Lady Amora is going to be mad at you.” She stated.
“You never know.” I commented as we got to my room. “I’ll see you in a few.” I said opening my door then going and getting changed.
