Final Points:
As far as many of us are concerned, TwoFacedLullaby is a chronic liar. She’s lied about many things in the past, and that in turn forces us to strongly consider any other stories she’s mentioned so far.
Her car accident last November left a lot of her friends worried and a lot of us wondering about the truth of the matter. Thoughts we’ve questioned include:
- No news. For such a shocking story – especially involving a young girl saving the life of an even younger boy – there is absolutely no news about this incident online anywhere.
- Odd medical procedures. There are members on the site who work in hospitals, including a paramedic. They can’t believe that doctors would leave a shard of glass so close to an artery for so long – this is the 21st century, that doesn’t happen anymore. And if the doctors there couldn’t do it, emergency would have dictated an airlift to somewhere they could. Finally, considering TwoFacedLullaby apparently lives in the Seattle region, a lack of good medical facilities seems unlikely.
- Doctors do not simply take away iPods like that.
- Miraculous recovery. Considering how life-threateningly critical of condition she was in in November where she wasn’t sure if she would live or not, one month later she’s already back home walking with a cane. I had a friend fall off a 3-story parkade in December and was in serious-but-stable condition afterwards – he was in the hospital and in rehabilitation clinics for three months. One month after a life-threatening car collision and she’s already home? And already going to Disneyland in her condition? That is an amazing recovery. Absolutely miraculous.
There’s nothing to this story that actually seems plausible. Can I prove it didn’t happen? Of course I can’t; I wasn’t there. Can I trust myself to think things through and make up my mind about things after looking at them from various perspectives? That’s a little more possible, yes.
After questioning all these stories, is it no wonder we're having a hard time believing anything she says?
