Hey all!
How’s was everyone’s weekend or the whole week rather? Mine’s were really good, Brandon stayed over a few days. Once again he spoils me with gifts with a heart shaped pillow and he brought a game from the playstation store called “castle crashers”. It’s a really fun game but it can be annoying dying so much. XD
I finished all my latest sweet accessories including the cream puff necklace! Now I just have to take good pictures of them. I tried to do so today but it was too cloudy and not enough sun (damn it) but I still got really good pictures. The camera is so amazing when it comes to up-close shots. You can see amazing detail like you wouldn’t believe! I didn’t get the kinds of pictures I wanted today, so I’ll try again tomorrow. I want a nice bright look since the charms is on white wax paper and plates. If it’s less then that it looks somewhat dull and I hate that. XD
Since I’m on the topic on my sweets and pictures, for the 1000th time I’m going to be updating (after a long time of not doing a thing in it) my old Candy sanctuary blog. I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately, not just the blog but my whole “brand”. It needs a stable home especially if people want to see my sweets deco only. Also, when I take pictures of my accessories there is always more then one picture I want to show, but I only post one so I won’t be “spamming”. The blog would be a perfect place to upload my zillions of pictures as well as updating my deco adventures. The only thing that really ticks me off about it is the design. I was in the middle of making a new one when I went into my “burned out/hiatus” mode. Now that I’m coming back to it with a new attitude I want to change the design from what I was doing with it. I have many ideas but none of them is “striking” to me. The best one I had so far is making banner/background like a café menu with my sweets as the food. XD I really like it but I want to see if there is anything else I can do. If anyone got any suggestions I’ll be happy to hear them!
Lastly after a lot of drawing on the computer I went sketching in my mini sketch book. Nothing can beat the feeling of drawing in pencil! I had such a blast doodling my Battle Otaku Royal self, practicing poses, and maids. I actually doodled the maids this afternoon. I made three little fursona chibis one each with a different maid outfit. I love the first two designs, I was thinking maybe that can be Candy Sanctuary maids. I want to draw more maids; I never had so much fun with them. *U*

I just got done adding the “cream” to my latest sweets deco for myself.
I call it the “chunky macaroon ds charm”, since it’s for my ds but the macaroons a bit too big thus the “chunky” part. It’s not even done yet, I have SO MUCH MORE to add, consider this a preview! ;D
But man it was so much fun getting back into it and piping the whip cream. It’s the best piping I ever did yet, it doesn’t look messy or anything! It’s good to see I am getting better despite my “break”. I even added crystals to the cream which I tried to do before and failed. They weren’t in the cream enough so they were easy to pick off, but this time I made sure they were in enough and not just sitting on top of the cream. I really have to thank tweezers for that. That really turned my process around and made it “mess free” and painless.
Now I want to make more accessories for myself since doing this project was small, fun, and manageable. Rather then try to make a bunch of stuff all at the same time which can get really stressful. I might make smaller macaroons except they will be black and red for my punk outfits. Ahh, the possibilities are endless and they feel really good!
Other then that life has been okay for the most part. My mood was jumping around a lot about a week or 2 ago but it stabilized finally. My friend Brandon took me out to Ihop 2 weeks ago and gave me his R4 card for the ds, which means FREE GAMES! He also gave me a digimon game the last time he came over and he said he’ll get me sims 3 for the ps3 as an early x-mas present. FFFFFF I love my friends, he treats me so well. The day he took me to Ihop he brought me some cold stone ice cream, when we were going to his house. The ice cream was TOO GOOD, I kinda wished I worked there. I mean come on, making and selling ice cream? The only thing that deters me is the “costumer service” part. :P
On the art side of things. My latest picture I’m working on (the sweets one) is 50% done. I just need to do the line art and color the character and then I’m done. I would have got it done faster but I didn’t want to rush it. I want to work on it when I’m inspired and happy so I can give it my all since it’s a B-day picture after all. XD I worked on another quick picture in sai and I don’t like it that much (coloring blending issues). I was going to submit it but it was too big so I’ll throw it in photoshop instead to edit it. I’ll probably won’t work on any art till night time since I’m most inspired then.
That’s about it. I’m so excited and happy today! I want to continue this good mood till the day I die. Thanks for reading guys and sorry for not commenting lately. =__=0
Hey all!
I’m having a fantastic day/night! I just feel good since last night. Before then I was really stressed and frustrated over everything but today was surely a new day!
I think working on Sayura’s B-day picture *SHAMELESS ADVERTISING* really helped to lift my bad mood. How could someone be depressing while working such cuteness?! That and my art is was the only thing I felt good about. I’ve made pictures that I love and I can’t wait to make more. As well as work with my ideas, comics and the like. That reminds me that I need to work on my fan mews and post something in my club. I really need my small note/sketch book right now so I can write down everything I want to get done! I have tons that I’m excited to see finished and get started.
One of my main downers was my crafts. I went and tried to make a small charm but I was completely stressed out because of the lack of space I had plus 1000 other things that you can list. I thinking it over and was close to just packing everything up till I had the proper space for it. But I decided to hang in there and keep everything where it’s at (a complete jumbled mess in my drawers), and just do simple things for now. If you read before a few posts ago I explained how it was near impossible to try to start a business where I’m at now and that still stands. As much as I want to start it I can’t try to work with such a faulty foundation. I don’t even have the proper space to work with my clay the way I really want to. When I start I want to make sure I have everything I need to “really” make it work and not just for me but my future costumers and clients. It completely unfair to them since I want this to be the best business it can be for all parties involed.
So instead of me bluntly packing my crafts up just to get it all out my face I minds be making small things for me. I love doing it so why have all my materials, clay, and books, go wasted? As much as I want to save them for my business I rather make things that I can use then not make things at all. After all the time, money, and space I used to get here its quite a shame to see it up packed up, even if it’s for a short while. Then I can explore other options like making stickers, acrylic charms, and things like that. Or at least make the art for them haha.
Speaking of which I’ve been doing great with it as you can see. I’m still working on the vector picture and I got a great handle on it so it’s not so stressful. I’m even using the pen tool with ease, what success! Besides that I’ve went into flash and played around in there and I’ve been looking into pixel art. Another medium I thought I never was going to go into. Even though I haven’t done any yet I’m sure it will be much easier to get into then I thought. I’m really excited to see what I make out of it.
One last thing, I really want to do something with this world’s design, I might use my latest fairy as inspiration. I also want to make another world where I can dump my “wish list of things I want in life” at. I think it would be a great idea. XD

Well, I figured I update again about my business/crafting progress! Last night I tried sanding and buffing my latest clay creations. I heard it makes anything you make look 10 times better with out glazing it. So I decided to try it and it worked out pretty good.
You know those hats with cat ears on them? Well, I made three of them. One a bunny, cat, and an otaku hat. Here’s a before and after picture.
Now that two of them (cat/otaku hat) has been sanded and buffed, I loved them even more. They have such a nice soft shine too. It took like 20 minutes each to buff them on my pants leg and a random rag in the kitchen.
I also decided to try to take better pictures of my crafts. I notice in the share kitchen in my house is great for taking pictures of my crafts! The room gets filled with natural sunlight and really brings out the detail of my pieces. Usually I have to brighten the pictures in Photoshop so it won’t look so dark but now, I don’t think it will be as necessary.
Everyone knows how important it is to get your name out in the internet crafting world right? So that’s why I signed up to numerous sites and blogs! Of course I haven’t even posted my first entry posts in those blogs but I’m getting there. I want to think up some nice topics first. Here is the list of places that I just signed in.

Hmm, I just realized how many sites I’m in overall (beside what’s listed). I didn’t think I would have so many ever in my life haha! I still have to fill out the basic information for the ones I just signed into. XD
Did everyone have a good April fool’s day? I didn’t, I was so grouchy that none of the jokes and stuff meant anything too me haha. It was funny but my funny bone was broken that day. (That’s what happens when I get no sleep at night) XC
