Dedicated to MangaKid, who inspired me to do some portraits from The Hobbit with her amazing pencil drawings yesterday! I remember drawing a bunch of Lord of the Rings characters years ago when the movies were coming out – seems like a good time to do something like that again These were real quick, probably about a half hour each. I may do some more!

And it just so happens to be J.R.R. Tolkien’s birthday today! Happy Birthday to one of my favorite writers ever – thank you for your amazing stories ♥
