Over time, this place has become my sporadic, and very random blog 'thing'. I'm too much of a personal person to post about everything that happens in my real life, but my internet life is all here for you to check out. Let the randomness ensue.

Also in this world, I shall post:

Segments: Agree or Disagree?, Pet Peeves

Other Sites You'll Find Me: Tumblr, Minitokyo, DeviantART, LiveJournal (I don't visit this much), Blogspot (I visit this even less), Twitter (I joined this site over a year ago because of my infatuation with Tom Felton) Since my absence, Tom Hiddleston has become my life-ruiner. Don't understand it? Just research him and it'll happen to you too. That man is a Disney Prince, brought to life.

The type of things I tend to think/feel

I feel as if I'm looking through an alien's eyes, studying people's habits, the items people own, the heated arguments, and for a moment- it all feels foreign to me. I can't help but think; if if life ended and began once more, would life's customs be the same? Would some of the world's excesses, traditions, even religion, change along with the planet, and how so?

If a species of higher intelligence were peering into our lives, what would they think? Would they be confused by some of our behavior, ideals, would they continue floating through space, unnoticed by us, because they've gotten a glimpse at our primitiveness? Perhaps they would return once we've heightened our intelligence...?

And sometimes, I feel all to aware of my own singular existence. For a simple moment, I can grasp the concept that there are billions of people living on a huge floating planet, in the middle of nowhere, a vast nothingness that holds the key to everything--- and suddenly, bickering over mindless subjects seems pointless, fighting over things like religion, homosexuality, and other topics seem unnecessary.

We're a unique species; shouldn't we all attempt to become better than we are now? Or are we merely waiting for evolution to fill the gap?

I think about these types of things an awful lot; it can be depressing. However, I would never wish to be anyone else; I'm glad I have the ability to run questions like that through my mind.

New Segment! [1] Pet Peeves - TL;DR

I’m making new segment in this world; Pet Peeves! I have quite a few, so I’d figure I’d share them. Let’s start with this one:

[1] Pet Peeves - TL;DR

‘Too long; didn’t read’ also known as TL;DR is just one of those things that just... gets to me. My dislike for it began on GaiaOnline, where the majority of users there have the magical ability to aggravate me. There are a lot of young, immature, 'witty' people on there, and quite a few times this has occurred:

A user online writes something particularly long, which occasionally (not all the time) touches upon an important subject---and after this person spent their time writing this entry, in hopes of engaging in thoughtful conversation---the first person simply replies:

"TL;DR"

Why does this bother me so much?

I tend to see things differently than some. I believe the human mind is complex and interesting, capable of mindboggling things. And after years and years of humans evolving and surviving years of mediocrity, cannibalism, mindless open violence, and many other monstrosities that were faced on human's path to intelligence and civilization---you’ve decided to take -1% of your brain's capacity, skim over a topic with harrowing conceit, and scribble down such a simple, pathetic line?

Is reading a few pages that difficult? I certainly don’t think so. I don’t mind if someone goes:

"TL;DR
I don’t have enough time to read the entire thing,
when I have the chance, I check back and read it."

That’s more reasonable; however, the first example, in my opinion is surely insulting. Now, sometimes someone will post something that is long, uninteresting, and stale. Guess what? If you're online, and it's not assigned, you don't have to read it. You can skip right over it.

If only some would keep that in mind...

I've created a meme?

What do you know, I indeed created a meme.

Freezing up, you warily peer behind you---eyes widening as you spot a cloaked figure bearing an engraved scythe and a wicked, toothy grin.
