Searching

I feel like I am always
looking for something
Something I lost, or may never have had.

An unknown thing, unknown person,
The subject I'm pursueing
I have yet to find out.

A jungle full of paths,
of many twists and turns
You may lay at the end of one
But which do I proceed?

I'm stumbling around,
Sightless and blind,
Wandering down countless roads,
With the destination unknown.

Yet I have hope.

Hope that I will find you,
Hope that I will complete this quest,
Hope that I will be happy.

So I continue stumbling,
I continue to search.

Always I will be,
Searching for you.

Hurting You

=========================================

When I used to see you,
I was happy.

Though I didn't know it,
for I took advantage of all things.

Now when we are far apart,
I think to myself.

What did I do?
Why did I do that?

I made a mistake,
I didn't know it,
but I had made a mistake.

I ended it and now I have to see,
that hurtful look in your eyes when I did it,
when I hurt you.

I didn't mean it,
I was wrong, I see that now.

I just hope that you can see,
The regret I feel,
The remorse in my heart.

I don't cry,
it's impossible for me to cry,
but if I could, I would.

I am sorry for hurting you.

I haven't posted apoem in a while and I know this doesn't rhyme, but I don't care. I just had to get what I needed to out.

If you have any idea for better rhyming, then let me know....

The Ocean

I stare at the sea,
the vast blue and white,
I marvel at its beaty,
It's strong, willful might.

The birds flying above,
The fish swimming below,
Wings white as a dove,
Hardly flying low.

The wind blowing around,
Through your hair and the leaves,
Never been bound,
By forcing, pressing needs.

The sea, how it's calm,
Steady waves crashing,
A soothing rhythm,
Lulls you to start forgetting.

With birds and fish, going about,
With the winds and sounds, so soothing,
The crashing of waves, falling upon the shore,
This is what brings us to the open air of nature.

The Ocean.

Poem number 1

WINTER

Christmas shoppers runnin’ round,
Trying to get their treasures,
Ready to give to their loved ones,
Collect much for good measure.

Bells ringin’, makin’ a beautiful sound,
Hanging, like always, from the sleigh,
Presents from Santa, for families, boud,
For children who behave in a good way.

Branches glistening from hangin’ ice,
Bare from their natural leaf,
Animals scurryin’, the cold’s not nice,
When it comes to warmth, winter’s a thief.

When it comes to Winter, you never know,
You’ll be surprised to what comes your way,
It could ice, it could snow,
Yet it’s nice not to know what will happen the next day.

The cold steals the smiles,
You won’t see one for miles and miles,
So remember, you have a job this year,
It’s your duty to spread Christmas cheer.

Merry Christmas to all who’s near,
And for those far away,
And don’t forget to spread Christmas cheer.
