[Next evening, the ceremony was about to begin for the winner, Shadow and Jay were driving down to the block where the GIANT plant was.]
Shadow: (Voice over narration) Well were hot on the case. A couple more people disappeared two nights ago. We didn't have any more clues, and we were kind of bored. SO we decided to see the ceremony.
[At the shop, many people came to see the plant. Even Vinnie and his family. Just then, Shadow and Jay came in.]
Ara: Oh hello officers. What are you doing here?
Shadow: We're bored. So we thought we'd come down here to see the fun.
Queen of Skid Row: Uh Taro, the sun is setting and those buds haven't opened yet. If they don't open, we'll have to present the trophy to someone else.
Aoi: Look it's opening!
[She was right. The giant plant slowly opened its trap.]
Queen of Skid Row: The first bud is starting to open.
[And it did. Then the second bud opened. Along with the last few, Then, Chess noticed something.]
Chess: Hey wait a minute. That's Bongo! *starts to cry*
Taro: Oh no.
[She was right. In the center of the opened bud was a print of Bongo's face.]
Squadd: And there's Trix!
[It was a nightmare come true for Taro. Each bud held the faces of all the people it ate. The Queen of Skid Row fainted.]
Jay: That's all the missing people.
Shadow: Mr. Chikumo, how do you explain this?
Taro: I didn't mean it!
Ara: That's right officer. He didn't mean to kill those people! Taro Run! I'll hold them off as long as I can!
[Taro ran off as fast as he could. The police chased after him followed by Ara and everyone else. Vinnie and Jess just looked at the plant buds.]
Vinnie: HA! Call that terrifying? You big weenies! I've seen scarier things in my own toilet!
[Then Ria and Pan came back to look at the plant again.]
Ria: Now the float will be even better than we thought!
Pan: Yeah!
Jess: *starts to cry* Poor Taro! It's all my fault. If I hadn't opened up to him, none of this would've happened. I knew he wouldn't love a freak like me. *looks at Jr* Aw, Jr. If only you could talk to me for once so you can tell me what to do! It's all my fault. I wish you could talk to me *sobs and hugs the plant* I wish Taro and I could be together forever! D: *runs out of the area in tears*
Jessy Jr: *hates to see Jess cry* Hmmmmm... *whispers to itself* I have an idea *smirks*
[Taro was running for his life for a few hours. He lost some of the people in the old mall, some more in a pile of tires, and finally lost the rest in a pile of old toilets and sinks.]
Shadow: It's no good. We'll never find him in here.
Jay: Let's go get something to eat.
[As they left, Taro poked his head out from one of the toilets. He was very cross,]
Taro: I wish I never grew that plant in the first place! Then none of this would have happened!
[He pushed the flusher and he flushed all the way back to the area. There was no one else there except for the plant just sitting there.]
Taro: You double-crossing plant! YOU RUINED MY LIFE!
Jessy Jr: FEED ME!
Taro: I'll feed you! *Picks up a knife* I'll feed you like you've never been fed before!
[Taro entered the plant with the knife and began stabbing at it. A few hours later, the police, Ara, Jess, Vinnie, and everyone else returned to the shop. They could not believe what had happened. Jessy Jr. grew to be very GIGANTIC. And in front of it on the floor were Bongo and Trix. They were alive and unharmed. And they had no memory of what had happened. The rest of the people that the plant ate were still dead as flowers. But there was no sign of Taro except for a torn part of his shirt, and a blood stained knife.]
Shadow: Well, he's gone.
Ara: He was my nephew. My only nephew! And he's gone!
Jess: *cries loudly* I WANT MY TARO BACK! D:
[Suddenly, the clock strikes MidNight. The plant glowed and transformed into its anthro form. It then lowered its head up to the small humans level. The necklace of flower buds glistened in the light. One bud at the center of the plant's necklace opened. In true terror, everyone saw that the face printed on the flower was Taro's face.]
Jess: Taro? *gulps*
[The plant frowned. It lifted itself up to full height and with a vine, it picked up Jess. Jr lifted up Jess up to its pod and upper-stem where its mouth and the flower necklace was. Taro's face stared at Jess with tears in his eyes. Both Jessy Jr. and Taro talked in unison to their love, Jess]
Jessy Jr/Taro: (sadly) I'm sorry. I didn't mean it.
[Then, Taro started wilting and Jr began to cry. Jess was speechless.]
