I quickly did this pen sketch of Howl from Howl's Moving Castle the other night... I just re-watched that Ghibli anime and love it just as much!! If you haven't watched it, go watch it!! <3

I saw this image of Howl turning into his bird form and thought it would be fun to do in pen... And thanks to a comment saijinto gave me on my first animal pen sketches, I got inspired to throw my fear away and try drawing anime with pen. Let me tell you, its a lot easier sketching animals with pen xD Once I started drawing Howl, I got really nervous and even messed up (you can see my sloppiness if you compare the ref pic to this pic >3<)
But still, it was lots of fun!! Thanks for the encouragement, Yo-kun!!

Btw, it takes me under an hour each to finish each of my pen drawings (including the animal ones). It actually only takes me 30 minutes to get the pen on paper, and then I go over it with the Copic colourless blender to get this neat effect with smudging. Then I go over the faded parts with pen again. And the paper I use is a little sketch book, its not too big so thats good or else I'd be giving up on pen xD haha I'm addicted to it right now!
