Ah, MeruPuri...such a sweet story. I can't say I like it more than Captive Hearts, but it wasn't too far beneath.

Anyway, I aimed to make this wallpaper a lot simpler than normal, Obviously since I'm entering the simple yet beautiful challenge with it >.> And I think I succeeded. At least, I really love the result regardless. ^^ Only used two textures, a gradient, and a render. The font came out exactly as intended for a change too! 8D *thinks she's improving at typography* The render was originally in color, but I thought turning it into a manga-ish look made it somewhat more...dramatic? Close to the original emotion? I can't explain it. I had to paint over the render quite a bit, but I'm not complaining.
