Yay~ I'm finally putting this up~

This piece was inspired by one of my class lessons. We were studying 'icons', and just what makes an icon, an icon. Basically, it's something that's terribly simplified, for effect. Yet no matter how much you simplify it, you will still recognize it, or what it stands for, the moment you see it. I wanted to do this in anime form, so I chose one of the most recognizable of the icons, in my opinion, Bleach Icon-Ichigo Kurosaki. I know not everyone would recognize him, but chances are for the majority, even if you have never seen Bleach, you will still recognize him or that soul reaper outfit.

To simplify him, I vectored him from a scan. Just didn't completely vector it. I didn't add shading or a face. Ohmaigawdkiraididn'trealizehehadnoface! Originally, I wanted the background to follow and be very simple as well, but after I got an opinion decided to add more depth. Finally, I made the text...and I think that took me the longest because I didn't do it the easy way. oTL I learned the 'easy way' after the fact, so yeahhhhhh...it took me awhile. But I can't say I'm dissatisfied. Oh, and YES. Those ARE all Ichigo quotes! I'm so happy you noticed! 8D *shot*
