Jaden glance around him to Othien who was always at the prince’s side. “I believe she will be down momentarily.”
“Oh Prince Micael!” Baron Grading, came over his wide smile was only matched by his wide girth. “There are so many important people for you to greet. You mustn’t stay here and ignore your important guests.”
The glare aimed at him and his emphasizing on the word ‘important’ made Jaden’s mouth twitch. The prince gave him an apologetic glance as he allowed the Baron to lead him away. “Lord Jaden is it?” He turned and saw a tall blond smiling at him wantonly. “My name is Sarah.”

Standing up after sitting for two hours while three maids worked on her hair Lilly was finally ready. She could hear the violins echoing through the castle. Looking in the mirror she turned around to make sure everything was perfect. Clara had picked out a peach gown that wasn’t frilly or puffy. It was sleek and elegant, her hair was partially down and curled with white flowers threaded throughout. She smiled and turned to Clara who had her hands over her mouth looking very pleased with her work. “Well I guess we’re ready.”
The party was crowded with the nobility of Alura, everyone of good breeding was in attendance. The king’s guard stood along the walls dressed in their finest uniforms with red sashes across their chests. She walked into the main ballroom watching the people dancing gracefully. Others talking off to the side holding his drinks with servants weaving in between making sure everyone was taking care of. To Lilly it looked like a circus of movement. Clara came up beside her. “There is Baron Haulder, and over there is Lord Cavin….he’s single and only three years older than you.”
