i am aware many are not fond of this little holiday, or prefer the nice alternative of singles awareness, or perhaps yesterday's parks and rec inspired galentine's day... HOWEVER some do enjoy it, even if ironically, and it also makes for a decent excuse to post something and revive the fact i still exist despite the loss of scanning abilities; if i had them i probably would have posted something somehow valentine's related...i even had one in mind that would have been nice, though it is more sweet and romantic, but, whelp, that can't happen *le epic sigh* it's okay, i know you are sad as well, but we shall push through this >:C

I have some partial news regarding my technological issues which i ranted on thoroughly in my last post.
First the bad news prior to the current events.
A few days ago i awoke as per usual, meandering about to get up things and such as i most always do, and one of those is turning on my laptop while doing so. However, upon returning to see it in order to log in, i discovered that the screen was grey and had not gone to the log in screen at all. It was as if it were paused between the grey apple loading and the log in. Obviously this worried me. But before fully panicking, i turned off my laptop and restarted it, this time waiting and watching as it started. Unfortunately it appeared to do exactly what it had done before. To be certain i repeated this process a few more times, discovering no matter what i did, the screen continued to settle on that taunting grey screen of doom. Yes, my dears, my laptop had become unresponsive almost entirely. Not dead, but certainly not working.
The next day we arranged to take it to the bar of genius' and have it checked out and to no doubt be sent in to the magic center of wherever they fix stuff. At the time i was warned that the logic board may be somehow damaged and the hard drive could be as well. While there he previously warned of both those, then went back to have something checked, and upon return he only mentioned the logic board, which gave me some minor hope that the hard drive would not be as likely. Now while i have had nearly everything backed up, there were some things which were not. These were nothing vitally important and i would certainly survive without them, but i rather hoped i wouldn't lose them anyways.
My dears, prepare yourself for the tragic part.
Today i received my mac laptop back from the apple overlords, and much to my dismay, not only was the logic board defective but also my hard drive. This meant, sadly, my hard drive and those few things i mentioned which i had not backed up in time were lost. LE WOE! Though not so much really, i will be fine, everything vital to my existence is safe.
The last few hours i have spent setting up my laptop once again, as if it were brand spanking new. Downloading things and moving over files and other etc. has been time consuming. I did the majority of that a little bit ago, and am currently writing this. There are still some things i need to do, primarily file related. A lot of my aesthetic choices were messed up and/or need adjusting. And obviously, the personalization of my laptop is rather important to me when i spent nearly all my time on it. I am also merely a goober that way. Yes, your leader is a goober. Don't let this information go to your head though, goober or no my magnificence is too great to deny. So i will allow you to take a moment to bask. ... Was that sufficient? Good.
Drifting away from the nonsense.
The problems with my desktop monitor have not yet been resolved. I am quite saddened by this, largely because if it is no longer working that is even more time passing where i shall have to go without being able to scan anything while we then must go through the horror of getting a new one. This irksome delay has been no help towards my decreased motivation to be productive with my doodles. Since my last post i have done a couple more, but nothing special and none of which were my neglected WIPS.
If one more thing breaks on me i may melt my brain.

the christmas eve and day have now passed, and i hope you all had a lovely time of it, doing things and stuff and thinking of me because that is the way obviously; if you don't celebrate christmas, but some other holiday, or perhaps none at all, then i hope it was an enjoyable holiday/few weeks for you also ^-^
i have nothing really to say again, because i hath been too busy to do much honestly, but i felt i should say SOMETHING since holiday stuff.....and sooooooo...have another video from the same guy because i like his stuff plus i rewatched it recently, so therefore it is latched in the brain of me...it is also vaguely christmasy..in that the set is christmas themed....yeah, that's it o-o
soooooooooooooooo, friday morning i was subjected to the experience of wisdom extraction
yes, you thought correctly dear minions, i am now no longer a bearer of wisdom teeth, i am without the toothy sagacity that one will later spend their entire lives trying to achieve once more, growing out the long beard and mustache for the stroking and twirling whilst in thought, eventually reaching such a maximum amount of inner power with which you can regrow your oral bones
HOWEVER
i seem to have been given the magical power of minimal to no pain whatsoever, merely the occasional dull aches... it would seem, though unsurprisingly of course, that my immense awesometastnicity has counteracted the normally imminent doom of continual days of oral agony, BUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA >:D

the only downside that i cannot avoid regardless of my greatness, is the stomach clenching hunger which cannot be satiated due to my still withheld ability to eat normal foods...and therefore i have been living on milkshakes and water since the morn of surgery and i am certain a few more days shall pass before i can eat much food food... my mastication desires are saddened…SO FULL OF WOE *dramatically puts hand to forehead* although, due to the fact i have been sleeping most of the time, i have not been awake too much to experience the starvation pangs as of now *nods*

WELL, now that my current life change is out of the way, i have something else to announce! YES, what is that strange statement you read? it is something for which announcing is relevant! :D
*ahem* i do believe i have mentioned before that for a while now i have been obsessively enjoying watching youtube videos of people playing the game minecraft--if not, then there you go, i have told you and you feel special--...because yes, i am one of those pathetic creatures who watches other people play games XD
for a long while i was maintaining my denial of wanting to actually purchase it as i am not particularly fond of computer games...all those keyboard combinations to know, blehblehBLEH >:U but, happening to get my friend merokins into the fascination with the game, she began to urge me into buying it with her so that we could play together and epically fail at our noobness, therefore, WE BOUGHT MINECRAFT!
we have only been playing for a bit more than a month now, and as we often get into the fleeting desires to be some of those awesome people online who do things that are popular amongst the masses, although us likely becoming the ones nobody will ever care about, but we want to do so anyways cause maybe who knows not really yeah...and, after this small amount of actual play, we decided to go ahead and try to start making our OWN youtube vids of us playing the lovely minecraft! *obnoxiously disturbing dance*
things are still a bit slow and bugs are desperately needing to be worked out, but we have begun and it shall hopefully become more interesting as time progresses, and we figure out the sound issues which are often turn offs to any potential watchers *nodnod* yesyes indeeds
Having told you of this joyous addition we have bestowed upon the virtual world, i link here the first two parts! they aren't overly great and sound quality fluctuates a lot, but tis a beginning, a thing with which all must endure!
